Everyone here at the Pender County Humane Society would like to give a biggg THANK YOU! You all are absolutely amazing! With the help of a lot of caring people, we are able to board our handsome boy Ranger with Mr. Coltenback. We are so fortunate and blessed to have such a caring and compassionate community!! Thank you all again for all the donations and shares to Rangers post! We will keep you updated on Ranger’s journey. ❤️❤️

Today we had dog trainer Jeff Coltenback come in to evaluate our boy Ranger . (Background on Ranger: He was found on the side of the road scared, emaciated, and had bad hair loss.)
Ranger is a sweet boy and we love him dearly, but he has been with us for a while now and he deserves his forever home. He is just a little scared at times, especially when new people try to come see him or our other furry friends. Jeff said that Ranger is a good candidate for his Canine enrichment program.  In just a little over an hour Ranger went from running away from Jeff to giving him kisses.  It really went great.  Mr Coltenback offers a low-cost dog training and behavior modification for Non-Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organizations and also provides a low-cost dog boarding and dog training for Non-Profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organizations. We are hoping to be able to get our boy Ranger in there to continue the progress he made today! If we are able to board Ranger it would cost us $800, so this is where you all would be able to help give this boy a good chance at finding his forever home. Anything would be greatly appreciated and would help tremendously. You can bring in/mail donations or click our donate with PayPal button on our website https://penderhumane.org … Thank you all for your continued support. ❤️❤️❤️
