The Pender County Humane Society Announces Our 21st Annual Raffle Ticket Fundraiser!

There are five chances to win cash prizes totaling $2,750:
• 1st Prize = $1,000
• 2nd Prize = $750
• 3rd Prize = $500
• 4th Prize = $250 (two prizes will be awarded)

Raffle tickets are $25 each, and the drawing will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Hampstead Women’s Club, on the last night of our three-night “Plates for Paws” fundraiser. You do not need to be present to win!

The Pender County Humane Society Announces Our Plates for Paws Fundraisers

The Pender County Humane Society will hold a first-of-its-kind three-night fundraising event – Plates for Paws – on Tuesday, Sept. 30, Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Thursday, Oct. 2 from 5-8 pm. The event will be held at the following locations:

  • Sept. 30 : Coral Cottage Boutique, 14061 NC-50, Surf City
  • Oct. 1: For Our Furry Friends Thrift Store, 100 US-117, Burgaw
  • Oct. 2: Hampstead Women’s Club, 14435 US-17, Hampstead.

All three locations will feature BBQ plates from Southern Roots Restaurant.

You do not need to purchase a ticket to attend.

Plates are $12 each or two for $20 and include BBQ, baked beans, slaw, roll and drink.
